New add on shower set for your clawfoot tub in Chrome. This set includes 3 3/8" Center diverter faucet with 3/4" MIP Connections, brass construction chrome plate. A 61" two piece chrome riser with shower head. A 54" x 26" polished aluminum D style shower rod with a 24" Ceiling Support Rod Kit (cut to fit) and pair of wall flanges. Also includes chrome double eyeloop bracket attaches riser to shower rod. The tub is sold separately. Matching bath accessories and faucets available in our YouRemodel storefront. I recommend 2 people to install, 4 hands are better than 2.overall a nice kit, the faucet is good quality. shipped quick in 3 different orders which was fine. My only real gripe is that it came with no instructions and one of the rod tubes had 2 small holes in it, not a dealbreaker though. I supplied 3 pictures above of my install. I didnt need instructions but a lesser handy person probably would. Item exactly as described. Super fast shipping. Seller made sure we received all parts. Looks great, shower curtain rod is very sturdy. Observe photo on Amazon for correct mounting. Rod to ceiling too long so my husband cut it off and rethreaded the cut end. There is a support bracket for mounting shower riser to the wall but my wall is not close enough. Will try to find a longer bracket. (not necesary but I like the fact of added support). I bought an extra wide shower curtain which fits perfect but it is too long. I will hem it or take it up to form a valance. ( I think I can do this using binding to prevent seams from tearing.) Curtain is not cheap but if compare to 3 individual curtains cost is about the same. Will also make a cutaway for the faucet so curtain does not have to be lifted to get to the faucet. This shower set worked really well. We've been using it for a couple of months now and it's been great. The item appeared kind of flimsy when we got it, but it's really held up fine. We did swap out the super cheap shower head that came with it for a handheld one from Home Depot for about $12. Much better.It was very easy to install also. The directions were just pictorial but we could figure it out without them anyway. Everything you need to install is included in the package and we had no issues with product delivery. I added some pics of our finished product to show you how nicely it installed. This item is recommended. |
