The typical failure mode is a leak developing in the coupling between the showerhead attachment and the hose. Although the hose looks very robust externally, there is an internal soft plastic hose that seems to get punctured from use. Thankfully, Amazon is carrying this part now, and this latest time, I decided to order a couple of them so I have a spare next time it fails. My original hose sprung leaks at the usual place, and based on the comments I have seen from others, it looks like most users are replacing the Grohe hoses on a periodic basis for the same leak problem. The reason I chose this one is because one of the reviewers mentioned that Grohe had addressed the problem on this hose. So far, so good. I will update the review if something changes. |
